FORESHADOWING OR A MISTAKE? LUFFY FINAL BOUNTY REVEALED!?

Monkey D. Luffy is a Captain of the Mugiwara Pirates and a member of the Worst Generation. Out of the 11 Supernovas.  Luffy has grown to be an extraordinary pirate, and he continues to grow at a frightening rate. A bounty is in itself an agreement to the public at large. The government is issuing a call to the people to help in the capture and concluding execution of someone considered outside the law. It is them asking for help in exchange for Money as a reward. The point of a bounty is to lure bounty hunters to the hope of money. The higher the bounty, the more likely a well-known bounty hunter will respond to the call. When a prize is raised, it is the acceptance of the government that they are not able to deal quietly with the problem at hand, and are asking for help from bounty hunters. The highest bounty showed in One Piece 1. Charlotte Katakuri – 1,057,000,000 2. Jack “The Drought” – 1,000,000,000 In the One Piece episode 812, the release featured something str...

ONE PIECE CREATOR JUST CAUSED A HUGE CONTROVERSY IN THE LATEST CHAPTER

Hey everyone! One Piece chapter 891 is out, and if you haven’t checked it out already, I think you should. This post will contain spoilers from the chapter, so it’s better if you continue once you’ve read the chapter. But if you already have, then let’s begin. As a mangaka, you would never really want serious criticism to affect your work. One Piece is one of the best works out there, and i think that’s a fact that everyone acknowledges.

So much so that the fans of One Piece have nicknamed Eiichiro Oda as “GODA”; a reference to how great his work is, and I generally agree. However, there is something in that Oda did in One Piece chapter 891 that is inexplicable. If you’ve read the chapter, you probably know what I’m talking about.

One Piece Chapter 891 introduced a new character to us, the 33rd daughter of Big Mom, Charlotte Flambe. Flambe is present in the Mirror World, where Luffy is fighting against Katakuri. She comments on how great Katakuri is, and that’s pretty all we saw her doing. But, there something very disturbing about this. According to the manga, Flambe is 15 years old.

Charlotte Pudding is the 35th daughter of Big Mom, meaning that her age is less than 15 years, probably around 13 – 14. If you’re a fan of the series, you would probably know that Pudding was supposed to be the bride of Vinsmoke Sanji. I don’t think anyone really saw this coming. Since Sanji is 21, and Pudding was supposed to be his bride, everyone assumed that she would be around the same age as he was. But, it looks like Oda had other plans. With Pudding, he has really done something that will receive a lot of backlash from the community.

That’s not all. Pudding has been sexualized in the manga, and the anime lots of times. But, that is something common in the world of anime, and manga. Wrong as it may appear to some, it is some that happens in every manga. So, nobody really cared about that until today. But, Oda really did something terrible with Pudding, since she is either 14 or maybe even younger than that. I don’t know what he was thinking, but it doesn’t look good.

Now there is a chance that this is a mistake, and Oda might fix this in the future once the volume comes out. Previously, Charlotte Praline’s order was changed from being the 20th daughter, to being the 21st daughter. Katakuri’s Devil Fruit was changed from being a Logia to a Special Paramecia. I think there is a possibility that this is just an error on Oda’s part. I hope that’s the case, and if true, then i think it’ll be fixed once the volume comes out a couple of months later. Let’s give Oda the benefit of doubt until then.
