Hey guys! In this post, I’ll be discussing something that has confused a lot of people. Episode 122 of Dragon Ball Super is going to air on Sunday, and I think everyone is excited for it. This is mainly because we have a great encounter of Vegeta vs Jiren at our hands, and also because we have had a two week break. We also got preview images for Episode 122 twice now.
The first set was released on Saturday, and the next set was released today, and there are some photos that have raised a couple of eyebrows. Most of it concerns Universe 7’s Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Universe 11’s Jiren. However, there was one particular image that showed us the Universe 7 spectators. Interestingly enough, the God of Destruction of Universe 5 Araku, and his attendant Cukatail were with Universe 7.
We’ve seen every Universe assigned their own spot in the Tournament of Power before. So why would they move? This had been bothering the community for a while now. I have a theory that explains why the Gods of Destruction had to move, and it concerns Vegeta, and Jiren. We know that Vegeta is going to go all out against Jiren, and he has also managed to land a couple of blows on him as we saw in the preview.
The final shot we got was Vegeta charging a Final Flash attack towards Jiren, and at first Jiren didn’t look worried. However, as Vegeta continued to charge it, even Jiren began to sweat. There is also a superior attack that Vegeta possesses in the manga, called Gamma Burst Flash, which was powerful enough to destroy both Zamasu, and Black to bits. I think he’ll use it in this episode, but the way he does it in the anime will be different. Not that it makes a difference, though.
I think it is Vegeta who will be responsible for the Gods of Destruction and Angels moving, and sitting with Universe 7. This is because I think Vegeta will take out a huge chunk of the arena for the Tournament of Power with his Final Flash/Gamma Burst Flash attack. Just seeing Jiren’s face tells you that it is going to be a deadly attack that would kill most in its way.
Now, of course Jiren won’t die, or lose because we already know that he’ll emerge victorious in this short tussle between the two. But, I think it is very interesting that Vegeta actually did very well against Jiren in Super Saiyan Blue form, while Goku couldn’t as much as lay a finger on him. I’m so excited to see Vegeta’s Final Flash, and if it does destroy the arena, that will make it even more incredible.
