FORESHADOWING OR A MISTAKE? LUFFY FINAL BOUNTY REVEALED!?

Monkey D. Luffy is a Captain of the Mugiwara Pirates and a member of the Worst Generation. Out of the 11 Supernovas.  Luffy has grown to be an extraordinary pirate, and he continues to grow at a frightening rate. A bounty is in itself an agreement to the public at large. The government is issuing a call to the people to help in the capture and concluding execution of someone considered outside the law. It is them asking for help in exchange for Money as a reward. The point of a bounty is to lure bounty hunters to the hope of money. The higher the bounty, the more likely a well-known bounty hunter will respond to the call. When a prize is raised, it is the acceptance of the government that they are not able to deal quietly with the problem at hand, and are asking for help from bounty hunters. ODA REVEALS THE FASTEST MEMBER OF STRAWHAT PIRATES



Hey everyone! Today, I want to talk about the Strawhat Pirates, and something interesting about them that Eiichiro Oda revealed in an SBS. It isn’t uncommon to see the Strawhat Pirates being compared to each other. There have been tonnes of comparisons drawn among them.



Some argue about who is the strongest, others about intelligence. Since the Strawhats are such the focus of the One Piece series, it makes sense that they’re discussed a lot. Even Oda himself has compared them recently, and this time, it was on the basis of speed. As you all know, SBS is where Oda answers all sorts of fan questions. While some of them of are bizarre, others are actually quite useful. A couple of months ago, Eiichiro Oda was asked about who the fastest Strawhat is. Here’s what he had to say:


D: Who is the fastest crewmate when they run a 50-meter race?

O: It’s hard to answer.
  1. Brook
  2. Sanji
  3. Luffy
  4. Chopper
  5. Zoro
  6. Usopp
  7. Nami
  8. Robin
  9. Franky.


*.Brook is fast since his body weight is light.

*.Chopper would be ranked higher if he used Walk Point. (another translation: Chopper is ranked high because he can use Walk Point.)

*.Zoro would be ranked higher in the shorter distance race since he would not run off the track.

*.Franky is ranked low since he is heavy.


So, yeah according to Eiichiro Oda, Brook is the fastest Strawhat since he nothing but bones. Brook would be the lightest, and that’s also why he is the fastest member of the Strawhat Pirates. However, this is just a 50 meter dash. You cannot use techniques like Gear 2nd, or Geppo here. That’s one of the big reasons why Luffy, or Sanji didn’t finish higher, because along with Brook, these two are the fastest members of the Strawhat Pirates.



Luffy, in his Gear 2nd, can match the speed of Soru. In his Gear 4th, he is even faster than that, as was evident during his fight against Donquixote Doflamingo. Meanwhile, Sanji’s legs are extremely powerful, which is why even without techniques like Geppo, he is ranked pretty high here. 



Usopp commented how he was faster than a Fishman underwater, and that’s all down to his incredible speed. I feel like the others are ranked fine as they are. Jinbe would certainly be an interesting addition to this list, but he’s extremely slow, and he wouldn’t even be near the top. I think questions like these are extremely fun to look at. It’s great that Oda takes time out of his day to do an SBS and answer all sorts of stuff for us.
