Hey everyone! Dragon Ball Super Episode 121 is out, and if you haven’t checked it out yet, please do because this post will contain spoilers from the episode. If you already have checked it out, then let’s get right into it. Episode 121 of Dragon Ball Super was extremely good. We had Universe 3 go all out against Universe 7, and unlike Universe 4, they didn’t disappoint.
Anilaza was actually pretty powerful, and it took the effort of five of Universe 7’s strongest to stop them. Freeza, Goku, Vegeta, 17, and Gohan had to team up, and thanks to 17’s efforts, Anilaza was finally defeated. But the fun has just started. With Anilaza’s elimination, Universe 7 and Universe 11 are the last two to remain standing in the Tournament of Power.
This certainly means only one thing. We’re getting some more Jiren action. Jiren has been out of action for a long time now, and I think everyone was waiting for the climax of the Tournament of Power in order to see Jiren fighting once again. From the preview, it was clear the both Goku, and Vegeta were fighting against Jiren in Super Saiyan Blue form. Jiren wasn’t bothered by Goku. However, as Vegeta fought him, he started to gain on him.
This has shocked fans in the community, but I think it is clear at this point that SSB Vegeta is a lot stronger than SSB Goku, because of all the extra training. Vegeta literally managed to do what Goku did, without Ultra Instinct. He’s absolutely blowing Jiren away, and I am so excited to see that.
While a wasn’t clear from the preview, I could tell that Vegeta was making Jiren worried. We haven’t seen Jiren like this at all, and he’s generally very calm, and composed. Even when Jiren fought Ultra Instinct Goku, he didn’t look troubled. But, I don’t know what it is that Vegeta was able to do to him. Jiren looks terrified, and Vegeta is putting everything he has into it. Just for the record, I don’t think that Vegeta will be eliminated in the next episode.

Jiren also looked flinched tanking Vegeta’s Final Flash. However, as Vegeta continued to power it up, Jiren was scared. If I remember correctly, Goku’s Genki Dama didn’t even tickle him, and he pushed it back with a glare. This is just too much Vegeta greatness, and it is totally deserved as well. We all know that Goku will end up taking the spotlight in the end, but some Vegeta greatness is needed as well. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait two weeks for the next episode of Dragon Ball Super because of the holidays. See you guys then!
