FORESHADOWING OR A MISTAKE? LUFFY FINAL BOUNTY REVEALED!?

Monkey D. Luffy is a Captain of the Mugiwara Pirates and a member of the Worst Generation. Out of the 11 Supernovas.  Luffy has grown to be an extraordinary pirate, and he continues to grow at a frightening rate. A bounty is in itself an agreement to the public at large. The government is issuing a call to the people to help in the capture and concluding execution of someone considered outside the law. It is them asking for help in exchange for Money as a reward. The point of a bounty is to lure bounty hunters to the hope of money. The higher the bounty, the more likely a well-known bounty hunter will respond to the call. When a prize is raised, it is the acceptance of the government that they are not able to deal quietly with the problem at hand, and are asking for help from bounty hunters. ONE PIECE CREATOR REVEALS A BIG PORTGAS D ACE SECRET!


Hey everyone! Today, I’m going to discuss one of the most loved One Piece characters ever, Portgas D. Ace. Before I begin this post, I want to let you all know that this post contains spoilers. I you haven’t caught up to One Piece, please do so. You will be heavily spoiled. So, continue at your own risk. With that out of our way, let’s begin. Portgas D. Ace was one of the main One Piece characters right until his death.



Even after his death, he was the reason why Luffy is as strong as he is today. Ace was introduced way back at Alabasta, and he was of huge help back there. But he was on a hunt for Blackbeard, who had killed Thatch. Ace wanted revenge. In order to do so, Ace finally caught up to him, but was defeated, and thus began the greatest war in the history of One Piece.



Ace was handed over to the Marines, and because of that, Whitebeard took his entire crew to Marineford in order to get Ace back. There, one of the biggest secrets about Portgas D. Ace was revealed. We found out that Ace wasn’t actually Dragon’s son (which everyone was assuming at that point). Rather, he was the son of the Pirate King, Gol D Roger. This came as a shock to everyone, and I don’t think anyone saw this one coming.



However, what’s even more shocking is the fact that One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda decided this spontaneously. That’s right. Originally, Ace wasn’t supposed to be Gol D. Roger’s son. By the time Oda reached that point in the story, he decided to just go with it, and he made Ace the son of the Pirate King himself.



One Piece would’ve been a lot different today had Ace really been Dragon’s son. For one, the War of Marineford would’ve been a lot bigger, because the Revolutionary Army would’ve been involved as well. I don’t think the Marines would’ve won the War if that was the case. But then, the story wouldn’t have progressed the way it did.



I’m glad Oda decided to make Ace the son of Roger. His story became a lot better. The fact that everyone struggled so hard to save Ace, and when they succeeded, he decided to sacrifice his life to protect his brother is what makes Marineford the best arc in One Piece history. I don’t think the impact would’ve been the same, and I’m thankful that Oda decided this to go with this amazing twist in One Piece.
