FORESHADOWING OR A MISTAKE? LUFFY FINAL BOUNTY REVEALED!?

Monkey D. Luffy is a Captain of the Mugiwara Pirates and a member of the Worst Generation. Out of the 11 Supernovas.  Luffy has grown to be an extraordinary pirate, and he continues to grow at a frightening rate. A bounty is in itself an agreement to the public at large. The government is issuing a call to the people to help in the capture and concluding execution of someone considered outside the law. It is them asking for help in exchange for Money as a reward. The point of a bounty is to lure bounty hunters to the hope of money. The higher the bounty, the more likely a well-known bounty hunter will respond to the call. When a prize is raised, it is the acceptance of the government that they are not able to deal quietly with the problem at hand, and are asking for help from bounty hunters. THE REAL REASON WHY AOKIJI JOIN BLACKBEARD PIRATES





As you all know, the Revolutionaries’ base was destroyed by the Blackbeard Pirates, when Burgess revealed its location as an act of vengeance towards Sabo and to try and get their weapons.



And as we know from Aokiji’s appearance in Punk Hazard, he’s not afilliated with the Marines or World Government anymore, but he’s on “the other side”. Which might either mean, pirates or Revolutionaries. Pirates wouldn’t make much sense because of Aokiji’s sense of justice, so everyone assumed he’d be associated with the Revolutionaries.



However, later on, in Dressrosa, we find out that Aokiji has connections with the Blackbeard Pirates, and might have given them some info.




The question is, what kind of connection could he have with them? Is it true loyalty? Even Burgess puts that in cause. And from we know about Aokiji, it’s highly unlikely he’d been rooting for the guys who don’t stand for any kind of justice and just cause destruction and panic wherever they go.


We know that the Revolutionaries did not suffer heavy casualities, because Dragon and Sabo’s names did not come up in the papers, as Pedro commented

So the main theory is that they somehow got away. But what if, Aokiji, knowing about Blackbeard’s plans because he is associated with them, and perhaps being a big unkown player on the Revolutionary side, warned Dragon about Blackbeard’s intent to attack Baltigo?





I’m not saying Blackbeard knows about Aokiji’s association with the Revos, because if so Blackbeard would never let that information leak to Aokiji, but if Aokiji is on the “other side of the grass” where it’s greener, then he may just be helping the Revos and playing double agent on Blackbeard’s crew, and ended up saving the Revolutionaries!
