TOP 10 DRAGON BALL SUPER 2017 EPISODES

when it comes to Dragon Ball super 2017 gave us a lot of ups and a lot of downs but on this video I'm gonna give you my top ten favorite episodes of Dragon Ball super for the year 2017.

10 - [DBS EPISODE 79] UNIVERSE 9'S BASIL THE KICKER VS UNIVERSE 7'S MAJIN BUU

 I love this episode and now looking back on 2017 it means even more to me because this is the only time we actually see majin buu fight and it was well animated it was a fun fight and at the time we thought it was just a preview of what Buu was gonna do in the tournament of power until a few months later we found out that Buu got swapped out for Frieza. 

Basil character is also good and he is instantly become the favourite member of universe 9.  I thought the fight itself was a lot of fun and it really is a shame that we didn't see more of majin buu fighting.

9 - [DBS EPISODE 90] SEE THE WALL THAT MUST BE PASSED! GOKU VERSUS GOHAN

This is the episode where gohan wanted to test himself against his father and they had that awesome fight at night where gohan actually pushed Goku to his limits and had him even used the x 20 kaio-ken. 

This is the time when Gohan finally step up and show that he needed to get out of being a scholar for just a little while and protect the universe from possible deletion. this was also the episode where Gahan was pronounced the leader of the team.

8 - [DBS EPISODE 101] THE IMPENDING WARRIORS OF JUSTICE! THE PRIDE TROOPERS!  

This episode featured the fight between universe and universe 11 and they have great scene. The episode is not centered just around Goku and it really showed the kale and caulifla friendship sort of blossoming out.This episode is where we see other pride troopers abilities and teamwork not only the main one like Jiren, Toppo and Dyspo. 

The Pride troopers leads by Kahseral fights the impending power of 2 universe 6 saiyan.
Eventhough the Pride Trooper lost against them, the idea of Pride Trooper kinda remind me of Ginyu Forces. I would like to see the Pride Trooper getting their own spin-off in a filler somewhere in the future.

7- [DBS EPISODE 121] ALL OUT WAR! THE ULTIMATE QUADRUPLE MERGE VERSUS UNIVERSE 7 FULL-SCALE  ATTACKS!

This episode gave me something I was looking for from the beginning and that is universe 7 working together as a team. We got to see Frieza working with Goku, 17 working with Gohan then at the end when they fought the giant Aniraza and he shot the huge blast at them they all had to work together to fire it back.

Due to the brilliant mind of Android 17, he knew the power core of Aniraza power is centered in his forehead they all managed to remove the last fighter  of Universe 3. This episode also reveal one thing about Mosco who happen to be a short Hakaishin who control him inside.

6 - [DBS EPISODE 95] THE WORST! THE MOST EVIL! FRIEZA'S RAMPAGE!!

This was the episode where Frieza had finally come back and he had to face off against those assassins from universe 9 where they try to take out Goku and Frieza so that both of them would not make it to the tournament on time.

One thing that I like on this episode is the use of Fortuneteller Baba to revive Frieza and that is the reminiscence of Dragon Ball Z. The scene of Frieza betrayal is also good and its remind us that this old villain of Goku still have grudge against him. We also obtained a piece of information regarding Frieza Golden form where he said that he already trained his mind to remove the weaknesses of that form. and of course its end up with a trade of punch with Goku and Frieza right in the face.

5 - [DBS EPISODE 114] INTIMIDATING PASSION! THE BIRTH OF A NEW SUPER WARRIOR!

One of the most controversial episode where the birth of New Warrior caused by a Potara fusion between Caulifla and Kale. This is also the Yuyu Takahashi episode of Dragon Ball super. Takahashi came in and took this damn freakin series by storm everybody is now a Yuyu takahashi supporter because of how incredible this episode looked.

This wasn't the first time he had ever worked on Super but it was the first time he had ever supervised an entire episode or at least the majority of one and the cut in this episode were incredible the characters looked more more I guess multi-dimensional.

4 - [DBS EPISODE 104] THE ULTIMATE HIGH SPEED BATTLE BEGINS! GOKU AND HIT JOIN FORCES!!

I was originally tempted to put the hit versus jiren episode which is episode 111 on the list because when I first saw it I thought it was a great little fun fight but after watching it a couple more times it really does not hold up.

In this episode, Hit was overwhelming by Dyspo speed where he counter Hit timeskip easily and land quite a damage to him. Goku then shows up with his Super Saiyan God to help hit against the other pride troopers member. Hit is slowly regaining his pace against Dyspo and managed to tricked Dyspo on thinking whether he is going to use time skip or not.

3 - [DBS 109] THE ULTIMATE ENEMY APPROACHES GOKU! NOW, LET LOOSE! THE
KILLER SPIRIT BOMB!!

This first half of the two-part special this episode was so much fun because Goku got completely plastered it was the first time we actually saw jiren fighting. 

The fights starts off when Belmod tell Jiren to let loose. Goku then try to know his level against Jiren by testing all of his transformation against Him. He could only match up with Jiren in Super Saiyan Blue and even using Kaioken x20 but still no damage.

Goku use his Genki Dama to finish up Jiren but Jiren can easily push a SSB kaioken Genki Dama with just only using his eyes.

 2 - [DBS EPISODE 116] THE SIGN OF A COMEBACK! ULTRA INSTINCTS'S HUGE EXPLOSION!!

This is the episode when goku went ultra instinct one more time. The fusion of Kefla proves too strong even for SSB kaioken. Goku did put up a fight for a little bit and then a strong kick in his head knocks him out. Not long after that Ultra Instinct trigger once again.

One thing that Goku learn in this episode is that compared to the ultra instinct fights versus Jiren, Goku was not aware of the state he is in. This time, Goku get a grasp on how the Ultra Instinct works. He totally managed to get his dodging side perfect but he cannot land a strong blow to Kefla.

The climax of the fight is when Kefla released a huge amount of power to match Ultra Instinct and Goku timed his Kamehameha perfectly. Goku did well on choosing Kamehameha as finisher because he is almost out of stamina. 

1- [DBS EPISODE 110] SON GOKU WAKES! THE NEW LEVEL OF THE AWAKENED!!! 

This was the best episode of Super in every conceivable way. This is the first introduction of Ultra Instinct. Incredible music incredible music throughout the entire episode animation and they also brought in all the top animators for this and Goku versus jiren.

Goku lose against Jiren in tugging battle of Genki dama and get destroyed by his own technique. He somehow managed to breaks out his shell and breaks his limits. He achieve the state of Gods, Ultra Instinct.

Ultra instinct proves to be strong for others, Toppo and Dyspo tries to helps Jiren but ended up being thrown away. Jiren however is not tempted by the state that Goku is In and still going strong fighting ultra instinct. 

The fight end when the heat is up and that is where Jiren blows goku away with his ki blast.
